As a Supervisor, your influence extends far beyond administrative oversight. You are the primary Role Model of our department's standards, culture and professional growth. Your active participation in daily Academy Operations, whether serving as a Field Training Assistent or even a Field Training Evaluator is an optional duty.
Why Your Involvement is Essential
Mentorship in Action: Theoretical knowledge gets refined in the field. By working directly with trainees, you model the exact behaviour, decision making, and integrity you expect to see in your subordinates.
Quality: As a seasoned leader, your eye for detail and high standards is vital to the evaluation process. Direct involvement ensures that we are producing graduates who are fully prepared for the realities of the job.
Cohesion: Being present in the "trenches" of training fosters trust and respect. When subordinates see thier leadership invested in the same foundational work they performed, it strengthens the chain of command and boosts overall morale.
Setting a Standard: You are the living standard of our department. Your presence in the Academy demonstrates that no task is beneath a leader and that the development of our future force is our highest collective priority.
